What is Bold Athlete

We are an athletic performance facility that specializes in training hockey players of all ages. Our team consists of experienced strength and conditioning coaches, coaches who have played the game at high level and expert supporting team members (nutritionists, sport chiro, physiotherapists).

Through the use of strength training, on-ice development, performance nutrition, and mentorship, our goal is to help create long-term success in both hockey and life. We believe in developing meaningful relationships with our athletes that goes beyond the game.

We currently work with players in the NHL, AHL, ECHL, NCAA D1, USports, WHL, BCHL, AJHL, SJHL, JR.B, U18, 16, 15 and 13.

Who We Train

Male & Female Training

With over 12 years experience working with hockey players on and off the ice, we have a deep knowledge of how to best prepare and get results for players of all ages.

Athletes are trained in areas of: speed, mobility, agility, power, strength, and plyometrics. We also use nutrition and recovery sessions to help optimize training.

We take pride in getting results, but also in creating long-term relationships with our athletes. Creating an environment where athletes love coming to the gym or ice is of utmost importance for us.

Lacrosse, Volleyball, Football & Other Sports

Whether your sport is hockey, ringette, lacrosse, volleyball or football we know how to prepare and get you ready to perform!

Athletes are trained in areas of: speed, agility, power, strength, band training, injury prevention, plyometrics, core, and functional training related to the individual sport. We also use nutrition, recovery, and mobility sessions to help optimize the training plan.

Our athletes will be taken care of to meet the demands of their given sport.

Sports Teams

Our Team Program is designed for teams or organizations who want to help their players stay at their best. When working with teams, we feel it is important for us to integrate and become a part of the team’s journey.

Each player will go through an individual assessment that will help us build an appropriate program for them throughout the season. We will also sit down with the coaching staff to develop a training schedule that fits nicely within their practice and game schedule.
