We believe that what sets BOLD apart is the strong relationships that the coaches develop with their athletes and families. They truly care about our son's future and are incredibly committed to develop and support Blake in reaching the next level.
When I joined BOLD I had lower back problems and had some range of motion issues with my chest and shoulders due to previous surgeries. It had also been about 5 years since I had done any weight training. Fast forward 18 months, my back issues went away within a few months and my range of motion was fully resolved in about a year. I think I am in better shape now at almost 53 than I was 10 years ago. I contribute the improvement of both of those issues to the quality of coaching - the fact that I get an ID (individualized) program suited to my needs and wants together with proper guidance and motivation provided by the coaches AS WELL AS OTHER ATHLETES at BOLD.
For me, BOLD is more than just a “gym”. You are not just a member, you are part of a community. There is NO judgement. Unique environment with like minded people (lots of hard work and lots of fun).
BOLD has helped Nolan see his potential on and off the ice as well gain confidence in his ability to become an elite hockey player. BOLD has also helped Nolan understand the importance of putting hockey, nutrition, fitness and education all together to improve oneself as a hockey player, athlete and person. When asked, Nolan says the best thing about BOLD is that they make training "FUN". What better way to instill the love of a healthy lifestyle into one's life now and into the future. We would recommend BOLD training for any athlete wanting to reach the next level of performance either on or off the ice.
